Seriously, I’ve found a way that even beginner poker players can make money - right from the beginning. It’s not some magical book or new system some “guru” released. It’s a great deal for everyone involved and is by far the most consistent way to make money at online poker, that I’ve ever seen.

Okay, first things first, I know when anyone promises something that sounds too good to be true - it usually is. That’s why I want to put your fears put at ease before I reveal exactly how you are going to make money at online poker.

The solution I’ve found to help every poker player make money is called rakeback. The idea is simple. Poker rooms make money by collecting a small percentage of every pot. This is called rake.

Creative web site owners came up with the idea of rakeback. Rakeback websites get a certain percentage of your monthly rake as payment from the poker rooms for referring you. Instead of keeping the profits they pay you all but a small portion of your rake back.

I signed up for rakeback at PokerDayJob.com. They have a small professional site focused on helping players who want to make a living playing online poker or just want a little extra income each month. Yes, I said it. Bonus whoring is old school. For those of you who aren’t familiar with bonus whoring, it’s basically taking advantage of poker and casino bonus offers. Bonus whores sign up at a site, play the minimum required to clear the bonus, cash out, and move on to the next victim.

But don’t you tell people that they SHOULD take advantage of gambling bonuses?

Yes, I do, but not the same way that bonus whores do. See, I too was at one time, a bonus whore *shameful look*. I’ve changed my philosophy somewhat since then and advocate a slightly different approach I call bonus hacking. So how is bonus hacking different from bonus whoring?
